New User Guide

Welcome to Here2Fish! This guide helps you get started on the peer-to-peer boating and fishing platform using the Here2Fish web app at app.here2fish.com—a responsive site that works in your phone or desktop browser. No app store download is required.

Access the web app

  1. Open app.here2fish.com in Chrome, Safari, or another modern browser.
  2. On mobile, you can add the site to your home screen for quick access (optional).
  3. Create a free account or log in if you already have one.

A dedicated mobile launcher may be offered later; today everything runs in the browser.

Quick start

  1. Complete your profile: open the Profile tab, then Account settings—add a photo, display name, and @handle.
  2. Find vessels: use the home search (location, date, DIY or Buddy mode) or the Find tab to browse the map and listings.
  3. Book a trip or list your boat: fishers book from vessel pages; owners use Profile → Vessel owner hub to add a vessel and set up payouts.
  4. Payments run through Stripe—add a card when booking; owners connect a bank account to get paid.

After you sign in, the bottom bar includes:

  • Find — search and map of available vessels
  • Trips — your bookings (upcoming and past)
  • Inbox — messages with owners and fishers
  • Community — feed and community features
  • Profile — account settings, referrals, and vessel owner tools

Booking modes

  • DIY — rent and operate the vessel yourself (where allowed).
  • Fishing Buddy — fish with the vessel owner as your guide; book by seat.
